The KYC system is not new and it is very recommended to keep business safe and know who you business with.

SETTING KYC:

On vtupress 2.5.0 and later versions, our users can control their clients account by setting transaction limit permitted for a given time (DAY or MONTH) until their account is verified.

ENABLING OR DISABLING KYC:

On the KYC page (Sub menu of vtupress), locate ENABLE KYC and set it to YES to enable or NO to disable

SETTING TRANSACTION LIMIT: This transaction limit is the total amount of transactions permitted for a user until they verify their account.

SETTING TRANSACTION LIMIT DURATION: To specify how long the limit will take to recycle.

  1. TOTAL: Then you are saying the total amount an un-verified user can perform is x naira as specified in the transaction limit
  2. DAY: Un verifies user will be allowed to make x amount per day.
  3. MONTH: Un verified user will be allowed to make x amount per month.

HOW CAN USERs VERIFY THEIR ACCOUNT?:

After enabling KYC, the VERIFY ACCOUNT nav menu is shown on their sidebar nav. When clicked their KYC verification form will be displayed to be filled and submitted. Once they submit, the user won’t be to resubmit until you set their kyc status to Retry.

SETTING KYC STATUS:

The statuses are Verified/Approved, Retry, Ban and Review. Once a user submits their KYC credentials, you can set the user to any status:

  1. Verified: The user has no transaction limit
  2. Ban: The user is totally ban from making further transaction (reversible).
  3. Review: The user verification is under review (Transaction Limit still Active)
  4. Retry: The KYC form will be displayed for that user to reenter their credentials to further verification.
