Vtupress got started by Akor Victor who is the sole developer of the plugin ‘vtupress’. The plugin development was driven by a client who given victor a contract to build up a vtu website whereby victor had to design the whole website with bootstrap but wasn’t pleased.

Also, the price to get a vtu script was exorbitant and he had to set up the vtu site successfully in a week.

Moreover, Victor is conversant with wordpress design so he thought using the wordpress cms to get the website done will look more easier and beautiful as there are so many themes and templates ready for use in wordpress directory.

This made him start learning the curve of wordpress plugin and theme development which took so many time to accomplish.

Successfully he was able to lunch the first version though it was too basic and has lesser UI/UX interface but was able to vend airtime and data as at that time which went well.
