VTUPRESS is a wordpress plugin to build a vtu system inside a wordpress website either new or old.
Vtupress was meant to be a project for a client which was neglected, trashed and got lots of thumbs down due to the bad user interface – the worse of its kind. Vtupress was initially poorly coded as it was our first project built with a poor knowledge on what vtu really is. Not until 2021, I never knew what VTU Website is or maybe one was existing. Being a student, I needed the 25k for a vtu website as offered by the client.
I had to surt the internet to know about what VTU website is all about and how to build one. Samora bot wasn’t helping as the client requested for some custom tweaks which doesn’t exist on Samora Bot. Spent days on bootstraping and other coding languages to setup one. It was a very bad one though i still need to deliver the work ASAP. I delivered the work thrice though it wasn’t approved and the client become more furious on each submission. I had to make extra researches on any VTU Plugin for wordpress.
I found Reloadly which is a wordpress plugin to buy / sell airtime and data though it had no dashboard or so but just a modal mini button on the frontend. What the client requested was very much far from what reloadly offers. The 25k was all i wanted so I came about developing a WordPress VTU Plugin myself. I started VTUpress two days after i started learning PHP and Studying the WordPress Dev’ Codex which made the plugin very minimal with features.
Story-cut-short, It came into operation March 21, 2021 (then the client already gave the work to other dev’) and was officially launched on April 30th, 2021 with a co-founder who met me just when the plugin was on development. That was a good one but the worse nightmare and the journey to daily insults and abuses from top developers who would always come to dm to either sell the plugin to them to refurbish and make vital amendments or forget winning with that type of interface.
OLD INTERFACES (version 1.0 – 8.0 oldie):
It is a poor interface , full of bugs and odds but I never gave up even when things fell apart.
Even at that, people still trusted us and stood by hoping for better improvement due to the love they had for us. Being a wordpress plugin, it attracted so many entrepreneur who wished to buy it and then improve the plugin to suit their taste (to be branded in their new name).
However, things didn’t go as they thought it would. 🤗🤗🤗
